Disaster & Emergency Insurance Claim Reporting Information

Many of the major home owner's insurance compaines have set up claims processing systems that are based on clients filing claims online or on calling special 1-800 numbers in the event of a home owner needing to file a claim.  Some compaines do not offer such services. Some do, but prefer that home owners try to contact their agent first. The Disaster Center provides a list of major home owner insurers in the United States with their contact information.
